FAA Program Management and Air Traffic Control Operations Experience

   AAS staff is knowledgeable in domestic and international aviation congestion management and provides domain and technical expertise in analyzing airport, airspace and air traffic control systems programs, plans, policies and procedures.  Our operational traffic flow management, Enroute airspace, terminal airspace and ATC System Command Center (ATCSCC) experience coupled with FAA program management expertise offers a safe and efficient process for the development of technology concepts for the future. Our FAA Technology Program Management experience leverages our staff's broad range of experience in establishing realistic plans that account for risks, stakeholder participation, and technical complexities. Plans are aligned with measurement mechanisms that ensure accurate progress tracking and awareness of deviations as rapidly as possible.

 

Our Air Traffic Control team has participated in:

  •  Air Traffic Control Operations and Procedures development

  •  AFP (Airspace Flow Program) - FAA program development  and airport/airspace constraint regulations drafting for the AFP

  •  Tactical vs. Strategic approaches development for Collaborative Decision Making

  •  Concept and demonstration development for the FAA National Playbook and other TFM initiative programs

  •  Process development for the ATCSCC to effectively communicate with Air Route Traffic Control Centers (ARTCC), Approach Controls and ATC Towers

  •  Current industry involvement with Chinese Government operations and Traffic Flow Management improvements for the 2008 Olympics
