Constrained NAS resources
require that the current system to be continuously automated and improved
through extensive data sharing. The future Next Generation Aviation System will
require innovative ideas and concepts that reach beyond automating and improving
today’s NAS. AAS applies a
combination of current domain knowledge with applied sciences and uninhibited
thought processes to develop enhanced operational technology improvements and
produce system wide future solutions.

Collaborative Decision Making (CDM) committee participation has provided AAS with a complete knowledge of current and transitional TFM technology development.

Advanced NAS concept formulation has been enhanced by participating in the Boeing ATM Future Traffic Flow Management concept development and membership on The Boeing National Flow Improvement Team.
